An aftermovie that brings back the energy of your event.
An event can take months of preparation for a few hours on the day. The film keeps going: for those who could not be there, for your partners, for your teams.

An event film is remembered for its faces and its words. My job is to find the story in it: to catch the feeling and the energy of the day, and to bring out what matters through the voices of the people there, the organisers and the partners.
The edit starts from your goal. A film meant to make people want to come next year does not tell the same story as one made for your teams or for a partner.
I am used to conducting interviews and asking the questions that get honest answers in a few minutes, right in the middle of the event.

Prices excluding VAT, editing and post-production included, for Paris and Île-de-France. As every event is different, the duration and filming conditions are set out in the quote. Travel in France, Switzerland and Europe is quoted per project. Services are invoiced excluding VAT for taxable clients established outside France.

At an event, nothing can be filmed twice. That is why everything is prepared beforehand.
The process
01
Preparation
We go through your programme together: the key moments, the people not to miss, the constraints of the venue and the light. From that I build a shooting plan.

On the day
I arrive early to walk the spaces and set up the equipment. That preparation is what makes it possible to miss nothing and to adapt when things change.
03
Editing
I build the story, treat the sound, grade and finish the film. You receive a first version within 7 days of the event, and we refine it together if needed.
04
Delivery
The film is delivered ready to publish, in the agreed formats. Your files stay available for five years.

Subtitles are included. This option covers their translation into another language, burnt in or delivered as a separate .srt file.

A first edit delivered within 48 h, so you can publish while the event is still fresh. To be arranged when booking.

To film a talk from beginning to end and make it available in full, conference filming is the better answer. The two can sometimes be combined at the same event.
FAQ
How long are you on site?
The Essential package covers an evening or half a day, up to 5 h. Immersion and Grand format cover a full day, based on 8 h. Beyond that, an additional day is available as an option. It is the time on site that sets the price, not the number of shots.
When do you receive the film?
A first version reaches you within 7 days of the event. Next-day delivery is possible, but it has to be prepared in advance and is charged as an option.
Horizontal or vertical, do we have to choose?
Yes, and the choice is made at the design stage, not in the edit: a film built for vertical is not framed like a 16/9. The Grand format package gives you both, the second video being a genuine re-edit rather than a crop.
Do you film the talks in full?
That is not what an aftermovie is for. If you want to keep the talks in their entirety, that is conference filming, a neighbouring craft but a different set-up.
Can we have photographs as well?
Not from the same person: filming and photographing at once means doing both badly. What I can do is put together a team with one or more photographers.
Do guests need to be told they are being filmed?
Yes, and that falls to you: a notice at the entrance and a line in the invitation are usually enough. For the people interviewed, I can have a consent form signed on the day.
What equipment do you use?
4K cameras, cinema lenses, lighting designed for each venue, discreet microphones and professional sound recording. A light set-up that goes in without disrupting your event. See my equipment in detail.
My diary usually fills up several weeks ahead, and some jobs are booked a year in advance. The sooner we talk, the better I can commit to your dates.
