On location, on a shoot or in the studio, this is the equipment I work with. It changes as projects and needs change.
On location, footage is written twice as it is shot, to two cards at once.
Your rushes and finished projects are hosted in Switzerland, with Infomaniak, in data centres the company designs and runs itself. Files are encrypted and mirrored, and the host commits to never exploiting them. Rushes and editing files stay available for six months after delivery; finished projects and retouched photographs, for five years.
For approval rounds I use an online review platform that allows comments at a given timecode. Files stay there for the length of the project, on private links, and are then removed. Photo galleries are delivered the same way, through a protected link.
Images of identifiable people are personal data. They are never passed on or reused for anything other than your project without your agreement. The full detail of retention periods and rights is set out in the privacy policy.
